Description
Nori seaweed (Porphyra spp.) is a reddish-purple seaweed grown in the Pacific Northwest, hand-harvested, and dried at low temperatures (below 38°C). It has a gristly texture and a distinctively smoky, crustacean flavor. It is rehydrated and used as an ingredient in soups, stews, croquettes, omelettes, pasta, rice, and couscous. A complete line of certified organic seaweed, hand-harvested in Europe and dried at low temperatures. An Italian purveyor of vegetarian organic foods with a focus on special dietary needs, Probios has been promoting the cultivation of raw materials with respect for humans and nature since 1978.
